Expressions Photography is holding a workshop class for kids ages 4-8.
The workshops will be held by Professional Photographer Jacqueline
Corbiere, owner of Expressions Photography. They will be held at 22 Lake
St in St Albans.
The Program will be held every Monday for 90 min for 4 consecutive
weeks starting 2-19th..
Workshop description
Each workshop is combined with a children’s storybook, such as “Draw Me
A Star” By Eric Carle,”& The Snowy Day” By Ezra Jack Keats etc... The
children will be read the story and then asked how they think the pictures
relate to the story. After discussion the children will do an art picture
based on the story and will learn how shapes and primary and secondary
colors are used. Being exposed to art vocabulary will make it easier to find
expression. The wide range of stimuli, materials and techniques
presented will permit overall flexibility in a child’s expressiveness. The
primary goal is to focus on the process of creating while learning. At the
end of each class the children will be encouraged to talk about their
artwork with the class.
Each workshop will be 90 min long. On the last week the children will get
to put their work from all the 4 weeks into a poster frame to take home.
Due to the high number of returns for this workshop I will be holding 2
different sessions.
Session One -10- 11:30 am starting Feb 19th, 26th and March 5th.& 12th
Session Two - 3:30 – 5:00 starting Feb 19th, 26th and March 5th. & 12th
Session fee – 100.00 . Price includes four 90 min workshops, all supplies
used for the projects we do and the final take home poster of all their work
