| About Me |

| Like most people, I get very bored of the traditional photographs with everyone standing straight and stiff, with awkward grins on their faces. No matter what the photographic situation, my primary objective is to help people feel relaxed, and free to be themselves in front of my lens. I especially enjoy capturing beautiful, natural looking photographs of people who tend towards being particularly camera shy. If I had to classify my style, I would say it is journalistic and artistic, with some traditional formals mixed in—I always pose shots to look as candid and natural as possible. For weddings and special events, I am especially concerned with helping you to enjoy your day, as well as remember it. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible while still capturing the moments that matter. I make sure to learn what your desires are in advance so that I can optimize my ability to take the kinds of pictures you want to see. One thing that sets me apart from other photographers, is that I believe everyone should have the rights to do as they wish with their own photographs. For this reason, each package I offer includes high-resolution digital files of all photographs taken, as well as copyrights, and when I say high-resolution digital files of all photographs taken, I mean it. Many photographers claim to offer high- resolution files of your pictures on disc, but what they give you is a disc full of low-resolution files that only allow you to print up to about an 8x10. If you want anything larger than that, you are forced to pay a small fortune to have the photographer print those enlargements for you. The digital files you receive from me are true high-resolution files that allow you to print up to about a 24x36. I give you exactly what I take with my camera. Additionally, with many photographers you will never see all of the photographs taken on your day. You will often only see the photographs that the photographer thinks are the best of you. I give you everything, even the few that, in my opinion, might not have turned out so well. The reason for this is something that may not look particularly special to me might be very important to you. |
